Meliá Costa del Sol

This was my fourth visit to this hotel there were six of us in three delux sea view rooms. The rooms we were allocated were definitely not up to the quality I have been used to in the past. We asked to be moved as our room was right in front of the lifts and service door which was constantly busy. The room then given (2328) was really poor quality, patio door lock broken and although it was reported this was not repaired. The black shower heads were full of white limescale. There had been a make up spillage in the bathroom by previous occupants which was not cleaned properly. I am not sure whether I will return to this hotel.

Great hotel, has everything that’s needed and a great rooftop pool.

Location very good, Rooms lovely but food very poor . We stayed at Melia in Palma last week and far more superb . Sunbeds grubby around the pool. Staff ok.. All in all would not stay here again would stay in Riu up the street .

Das „The Level“-Angebot ist sensationell gut. Die Flamenco-Vorführung war super. Das sehr gute Duschgel von Organics. Das Hotel ist komplett barrierefrei - Auf hohem Niveau!

Fast zu wenig (und etwas zu kleine) Aufzüge. Es kommt zu Wartezeiten. Ist aber Jammern auf hohem Niveau!

Great hotel in a perfect location. Lovely room. The staff were all smartly dressed and immaculate, and very hard working .They were all friendly and must have the patience of saints as some of the guests staying at the hotel must have left their manners at home (all different nationalities involved). A simple please and thank you is not much to ask., and dare I say put a smile on your face while doing so. The room was lovely and cleaned on a daily basis. Loved the pool area with a lovely seaview. The roof terrace was amazing. The food was very good at any time of the day, albeit we did eat out a couple of nights as was beginning to feel a bit institutionalised. There is different entertainment every night of the week. The guitarist along with violinist were superb as well as the Il Divo tribute act. We are definitely planning to return to this hotel next year, and highly recommend it.

Such a fabulous hotel, location was perfect! Staff were amazing. Food was delicious and the views are stunning… Our room was upgraded to the Level building due to the refurbishments and the room we got was perfect. Very clean and wonderful views of the sea. Was lovely sitting on the balcony in the morning watching the sunrise. The staff we met were all wonderful, the hotel seemed very busy despite the time of year and yet we still never felt rushed or like anything was too much trouble. I’d really like to say thank you to the staff in the dining room as they always met us with a smile. And the barmen in the main lounge make the best Pina Coladas I’ve ever had! The food was great for me, I love fish and there were lots of cooked meats and fish each night. The vegetable paella was delicious! My husband is vegetarian and he loved the salad bar, his only suggestion would be to have more variety in the cooked vegan option. It was often a bit bland, lacked seasoning and just seemed to be vegetables cooked in stock. Saying that, he never struggled to eat but it would be nice to have better options for a hot meal. Pool areas were fantastic, the main pool has lots of sunbeds but we spent our time on the upper terrace. The views are amazing! We’ve never been the kind of people who go back to a hotel but the Melia has changed that for us. We had such a wonderful time we will definitely be booking to return very soon!

After 55 of travelling abroad 2 or 3 times a year this must be the worst hotel we have ever stayed in staff are very blunt and rude food is terrible payed extra to get a deluxe sea view room only to look at a cliff face and was told that is what you booked like it or lump it no tea or coffee in the room after asking twice at reception still no tea or coffee in the room if I could give this hotel minus 10 I would we have never complained about a hotel before even though we have been all over the world would I stay again never would I recommend it never never never
