Meliá Costa del Sol

This was our second stay at this hotel, the last being in 2024. Overall, not much has changed. The service by all members of staff was good and the facilities as expected. The food in the evenings was generally good, with the fresh fruit being the outstanding aspect. However, there are a few things which could be improved. Firstly, the offering at breakfast is repetitive to say the least. Overcooked, greasy fried eggs, watery packet scrambled egg and the worst sausages we have had in a hotel. The so called chicken sausages were like pink plastic. Secondly, the 45 minute sunbed rule is not enforced at any stage - why put it in place if you aren’t going to enforce it ? Next, there really needs to be a separate area around the pools where smoking is allowed, rather than us non smokers being subjected to other people’s cigarettes. We have seen this done in many other hotels in Spain, so it wouldn’t be beyond the realms of possibility for something similar to be done here. Lastly, the drinks, especially the spirits, are small measures and hugely overpriced.

Er waren werken in het hotel zodat we elke dag 's morgens vroeg wakker werden van het geboor, geklop en de werkmannen.

Absolutely The best hotel in Torremolinos absolutely perfect service from check in to check out, very friendly efficient staff always smiling and nothing to much trouble, very nice comfortable rooms we stayed in the Level with the extra benefits great value for money and lovely extra touches private pool area and afternoon drinks and snack very attentive professional service we had half board and the breakfast and evening meal were excellent with a great variety and high quality food we stayed in room 2217 was lovely beautifully appointed room with sea view we enjoyed so much we have re booked again for June this year fantastic hotel with lovely efficient staff very well run I have worked in Travel industry over 30 years and this is very high standard hotel and would highly recommend it

L’hotel ha un’ottima posizione, e un buon beach club proprio di fronte.

È un classico hotel anni ’70, con arredamento piuttosto datato, e la pulizia quotidiana delle camere potrebbe essere più attenta e accurata. Anche la palestra è poco funzionale e avrebbe bisogno di essere rinnovata. Essendo una struttura molto grande, il personale a volte fatica a gestire tutto con attenzione e cordialità; in particolare, alcuni membri dello staff della sala colazione dovrebbero migliorare l’approccio con gli ospiti. Inoltre, qualsiasi richiesta di late check-out o di prolungamento del soggiorno, anche a pagamento e con largo anticipo, risulta molto complicata da gestire. Nel nostro caso, per poter restare solo alcune ore in più a causa di un volo, abbiamo dovuto cambiare camera e pagare un’intera notte aggiuntiva.
