Hotel Cristina by Tigotan Las Palmas - Adults Only (+16)

We had a fantastic stay; The room was large, clean and well equipped. Breakfast was really good - a buffet with every possible choice. The location was fantastic - right on the beach, great restaurants and bars on the doorstep too. We had a sea view balcony room on the 7th floor which was well worth the small supplement per night. Although there were renovations happening (lifts being replaced) this did not affect our stay and staff ensured that it was not an inconvenience to guests. We look forward to returning again soon.

NOTABLY THE RESTAURANT WHICH WAS ALL LOCKED UP.WE THOUGHT THAT THE LIFTS COULD BE IMPROVED. THEY WERE OUT OF SERVICE FOR MAINTENANCE ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS.THE HOTEL WAS BEING REFURBISHED OR REPAIRED IN SEVERAL AREAS

Comfortable hotel right on beach front with diversity of restaurants on doorstep.

Lovely hotel. Would definately stay there again. The way the lift works is a bit weird so sometimes it's quite a long wait for it especially from the 'p' (pool/breakfast) floor. Fantastic location too!

I was hoping for Wow factor during my stay. Unfortunately, the hotel is under renovations, and it is not nice to hear banging noises and see construction ongoing. Secondly, the room was clean, the view was nice, but I was on the third floor, and had to change rooms to find a stable internet connection. The room had two twin beds which were extremely soft and made for an unpleasant sleep. The upside is the breakfast was great!

Great location next to Las Canteras beach. Lots of good restaurants close by. Rooms nice & clean & nice size. We had city view room on 6th floor that looked out towards dock area. Only thing we missed in room was tea/coffee making facilities. Breakfast was very nice, good variety. Lifts were scarce & we often walked up the stairs as we got fed up waiting but they are being renovated so lifts will maybe improve. There was a lot of noise due to the renovation work. Overall a great holiday & we'd go back to this hotel.

We had a really lovely stay at the Cristina and would recommend it as a place to go for a relaxed break right next to the beach. The staff are pleasant and not at all intrusive, waitress staff at breakfast really lovely and helpful and we were never disappointed with the standard of food served. The lifts can be a little slow at busy times but they are updating them. Also the beds are a little harder than in UK but are pretty standard for Spain/Portugal in our experience. The room was clean (and cleaned and made up daily) and we liked the hard flooring as it gave it a cooling feel and was far easier to stay clean. It was also ver There was a huge array of toiletries and knick knacks including the usual soaps, shampoos, but also vanity kit, comb, shave kit, dental kit, sewing kit, shoe cleaning kit and more .. the most we've seen anywhere? The rooms are of a god size with a bathroom (very effective shower over bath) and separate toilet with bidet. A full supply of really fluffy towels which were replaced when required. Also there's a little room fridge which we kept our water etc. cool in ready for the next day. The hotel is a little dated but realistically this didn't detract from our stay and the highlight was definitely their breakfast. A great selection of fresh fruit, pastries and continental buffet along with scrambled egg, sausages, bacon, French toast and beans and other veg. There's also (lovely!!)coffee and tea and a toasting machine for various breads and rolls.
