It was reasonably priced for a city centre hotel. The carpark was reasonably priced and in close proximity to the hotel (although independent). The entrance lobby is very grand, and this was obviously a very high class hotel in it's day

The decor was tired and dated, it could benefit from a repaint, if not a full refurbishment. As I was on my own it was acceptable, but I wouldn't choose it for a romantic weekend away.

"A very pleasant stay, the interior of the hotel is stunning and will make you feel very special."

The location of the hotel was excellent for travel and amenities, myself I would say that everything was in walking distance.

Alot of good improvements from last time I was there a year ago were I had a few problems. Staff more friendlier now and more helpful.

Don't know if hotel can do anything about it but always have homeless right when you go outside for a cigarette or anywhere your being tapped for cigarettes and money every single time which is off putting and some of them are cheeky so be careful.
