"A real gem in the City Centre …"

Spacious, plenty of storage, clean and tidy, shower and bath each really lovely, city centre location, architecturally grand but modernised restaurant and rooms. Absolutely would recommend to anyone visiting the city for accommodation that exceeds expectation considering the price we paid. Really hot outside but we found a fan in the wardrobe and the window opened with a safety latch. Very welcoming reception colleagues and at breakfast. Only 15 minutes walk to Manchester Opera House, Piccadilly train station, less than 10 minutes to Trams -my daughter and I felt very safe walking back from an After Show party at 1.30am! Reassuring security guard at the main entrance.

Sockets by the beds maybe but we charged our phones at the desk so it’s a squiggly niggle! Manchester wakes up very, very early - if it ever goes to sleep!- so being on the main road, the vibrant noises of hectic city life were our alarm clock but, again, we weren’t unhappy with that- it’s to be expected!

"You get what you pay for I suppose"

Good central location

Staff were quite rude to me when I wanted to leave a suitcase in the luggage section following my stay. They also did not show empathy with the heatwave. I had a weak fan in my room which only helped marginally
