"Cheap, central, a clean comfy bed"

Fan in the room helped a bit with the unusual heat!

Check in seemed to take a long time, I had to go in to my app & email to find a confirmation number -;just the booking name wasn't sufficient, minor annoyance Pillows weren't the best but the bed itself was comfy.

"Old school opulence"

Excellent central location. Loved the old school opulence look of the common areas, rooms were basic but comfy and clean. Shower excellent, great water pressure

Room was hot, but I stayed in the heatwave so that's not the hotels fault. The window did open and had a security latch on it to let in some air

The staff were friendly. The room was a good size.

Would have personally preferred a walk in shower but the shower over the bath worked perfectly fine.

Location great and the outside of the building is lovely

During a heatwave there was no AC and the fan in the room was broken and didn't work, it took a long time for it to get replaced and the one they replaced it with was so loud it was clearly also broken and so it couldn't have been kept on over night bare in mind we were on the top floor (5)

The hotel is very central and very close to transport hubs so location is exceptional. Booking in was easy and at the price it was excellent value.
