"Nice Hampton"

Nice place, not far off highway. Stopped here on way to Chicago. Lady at front desk was very nice and helpful with restaurant area info. Elevators were slow. Breakfast was good. Pool was clean. Will stay again.

When we arrived at the hotel they were overbooked even though the room we reserved was prepaid and non refundable. We had to scramble to secure a room elsewhere which was more expensive. The staff at the hotel was no help, they didn't even bother to call to tell us that we would not have a room before we got there. They claimed that they did not have access to our contact information even though she later said she needed to log into the expedia portal. Sounds like no one took the extra step to try to help us and let us know ahead of time. I would not recommend this hotel

"Room smell and noise"

Stayed 1 night in room 117. The room smelled like sewer gas. The noise and thumping on floor started around 9:30 pm. Then the room next to us started with slamming their door from 11:30 pm for at least an hour, probably at least 20 times. Then the guy started yelling and swearing at his child, actually was a little bit fearful of what he may do. Room was halfway decent and breakfast the usual Hampton Inn options, which was expected. Will not return.
