Large rooms. I picked this one because it’s close to the train station. The other hotels in the area, even with Four Stars, had some shady reviews. But not Ibis!

Great shower, baby bed at no extra charge, very close to metro, quiet and very clean. Extra charge if you want breakfast. Ext door to famous restaurant with great food

The hotel is well located in Perrache close to the terminus of the Metro A line and close to where the cruise boats are parked. The rooms are well-proportioned and comfortable. The buffet breakfat at €9 is great value

"Plenty of space in junior suite"

We chose to stay here because they offered a junior suite at a reasonable price. So many other hotels in the area have tiny rooms, but this one had plenty of space, both in the bedroom and the bathroom. Its location allowed us to walk to the old town area, which was convenient. The staff were very nice. The room itself was fairly basic - nothing special, but nothing bad. The bed was firm but comfortable. The air conditioning didn't seem to be cooling the room, but we were able to open the window to get fresh air. The free wifi worked fine. Overall, this was a good choice for our stay in Lyon
