Embassy Suites by Hilton San Rafael at Marin Center

The property is a fantastic location - we used it as a home base for a family reunion. The bar and breakfast gatherings are perfect for big groups and well maintained. All staff from the front desk to the bar staff and waiters plus housekeeping were so friendly and accommodating. Super big plus for Eduardo in the restaurant. He went above and beyond to help my family have a great experience. The rooms are giant with a million outlets and so much space. Everything has been updated beautifully.

Perhaps it was just our room on the 5th floor and the fact that there was an unusual heat wave but the air conditioning in the room was terrible. On “high” it barely spit out any air in the bedroom and we were very hot at night. No screens on the windows and there were two large spiders outside so we didn’t want to leave it open. The toilet would constantly run after being flushed. We would have to open the lid to the tank and adjust it every time otherwise it would make weird gargling noises that would keep us awake at night. The door handle to our room was completely broken from the inside like a previous guest had smashed it against the wall. Huge holes in the door and wall. The pool area is very small - if one group is in there, it feels a bit overrun so we never went in.

The staff was friendly, and the breakfast was great.

There were broken amenities, there was ripped couch, the bathroom had water damage to the wall and ceiling and the tub overflowed over 4 inches since it drained poorly (we let house keeping know and they said maintenance would come to fix, but they never arrived). The shower head has water rust that looks unclean/unappealing for the price that was paid for the room. The couch also had suspicious stains.

Love the size and comfort of the room. Parking fee is reasonable. Complimentary drinks and breakfast is great. Friendly staff.

It was close to our event. It is a lovely facility. The suites were spacious, nicely furnished. The bed was comfortable and the pillows soft! The restaurant menu was excellent! We really enjoyed our stay!😊👍

Very comfortable beds, very clean room and bathroom. Delicious breakfast! Had an amazing experience. Will stay there again.
