Appreciate the upgrade to waterfront view

The location is great! The ferry to San Francisco is right next to the hotel so a perfect way to see San Fran as well. The hotel is a little tired but staff and location makes up for it. Also great restaurants within walking distance!

The staff was amazing in our room was an excellent condition. I loved my stay at the waterfront hotel.

Perfect location for going to San Francisco Giants games. Easy wslking to Oakland restaurants. I like the train whistle. Will stay again.

That front desk team cannot be beat! Very accommodating and personable. Made it a memorable stay!

Great staff and convenient ferry location

Ok, so the Waterfront as a hotel was lovely. The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. Jack London Square was safe and clearly an effort Is made for the area to be safe and secure. I would absolutely recommend this hotel if you are looking to stay in Oakland. We were in town to watch the Jays play. Be warned, you do have to drive through some “tent city” areas that are dirty, and if you’re small town, very intimidating. But once in the JL square there were no issues and it was beautiful.

Always my go to spot when I’m town. Location is great and you can’t beat the waterfront.

There were many restaurants with a variety of cuisines in walking distance of the hotel. It is near a railroad train station so you will hear the train by day.
