Hyatt Regency Irvine

The newly renovated Hyatt Regency Irvine exceeded my expectations. From the moment I arrived, the front desk staff was warm, friendly, and welcoming. The hotel was beautifully decorated for Christmas, which made the stay feel even more special. I used my points for this visit and it was absolutely worth it. As a member, I was able to request early check in and late check out, which made the experience even smoother. We stayed in a corner suite that came with two bathrooms stocked with high quality toiletries. The space was clean, modern, and very comfortable. The only downside was the pull out sofa bed, which was not the most comfortable, but everything else made up for it. There is a daily parking fee of 41 dollars, but overall the stay was amazing and I would definitely return. Great location!

I’ve stayed at this location 5 times since the renovation. Hotel is in great condition and price is reasonable. They overcharge for parking though, $45 per day for this location is clearly to rip guests off. I guess it’s their way to keep the published room rate low and make it up with parking. Highlight is there is a lounge and I love the freedom to grab a soda or coffee anytime of the day. Service in the lounge is slow though.

This location is situated within a corporate park and reliance for food is with a 3rd party restaurant. According to the front desk, for the past two evenings, they were unaware that the restaurant was closed for private parties. The only barrier to this situation is that the hotel is cornered by two large highways without the availability to walk to any type of restaurant. Would not recommend for families or group business travel.

great experience here! wish that there would be changing tables in the mens bathroom for our baby though. but overall experience was stellar and staff were super attentive.

Veronica, America (front desk) and Raja from valet were absolutely phenomenal. This level of approachability and warmth wins over clients to come back over and over again. These employees are assets to the Hyatt group ! what a wonderful stay ! This Hyatt Regency is phenomenal. Modern, new property feel, client services. Spacious rooms, it checks off everything !!

Hyatt Regency Irvine just went through $55M renovation not long ago so everything is new and in good condition. We paid extra points to get club lounge access and enjoyed food and services there. Since the space in the lounge is limited, reservation is required. Housekeeping is very polite and does a good job. Parking is not cheap, $41 self-parking and $47 valet. Self-parking lot is in the back of hotel and is spacious.

Everything is falling apart at this hotel. Stayed here 5 times from the time it was brand new last year: in one year it has fallen apart and the customer service for a Globalist and Explorist was non existent. The kids got sick from the hot tub that hadn’t been cleaned and smelled of chemicals. The AC in the room was broken and took a day for them to fix. No apology; no refund . Not the way you treat your preferred clients. A huge letdown for the Hyatt brand of whom I am a loyal patron

Such a shame, the room is renovated to a better condition. But firstly my balcony door can’t shut off completely (results in cold air and LARGE NOISE). Secondly the breakfast they claims to be provided requires reservation on OpenTable, which when I was checking in, are completely booked full with no timeslot available during my entire stay. The staff are also very arrogant(check in), as a high status loyalty member no one mentioned anything about welcoming or thanking. They probably thing I was homeless and someone provided this free stay to me that they don’t need to pay respect to :)

I truly enjoy every night I stay at this hotel. The atmosphere, comfort, and service make every visit exceptional. I’ve experienced it all, and it keeps getting better. Thank you so much 😊🙏🏼✨🎉
