The Madison Concourse Hotel and Governor's Club

Very comfy bed & pillows. Excellent shower. Only complaint: should offer free coffee in the lobby for guests. No 'free' breakfast, but restaurant on site. All in all, we would defintely return.

Our check in person was great. Very fast and helpful.

Very clean and comfy hotel. Be aware there is not valet service for your car and essentially no bellhop service. A very kind engineer at the hotel assisted us with my moms wheelchair and luggage while I parked the car.

Great hotel

Excellent location. The bathrooms need renovating and modernizing especially the showers which are outdated and over the bathtubs and do not function properly.

This time was an anomaly. Told us we could check in early; turned out to be two hours late. Staff didn’t care at all. Can we speak to the manager? He’ll be in on Monday. This was a Saturday. Every other time we’ve stayed here it’s been special. Not this time. EXCEPT FOR THE GOVERNORS CLUB! Simply fantastic with Paul our Bartender at the helm. He deserves FIVE stars!

Nice hotel in the heart of Madison! Didn't love that there wasn't a freezer in the mini-fridge. Knowing I was going to fly home with some Wisconsin cheese, I brought an icepack thinking I could just keep it frozen in the mini fridge until we left. Could walk to everything and it's a quick Uber drive to the airport. The only thing I didn't love was that the entrance is a block behind the square making it feel less safe to walk to late at night.

Clean room

Perfect location, my favorite hotel in Madison. I’ve been visiting 3 times a year for the last 3 years since my daughter has been at UW and I love this hotel. The governors club level is the bomb- with breakfast, drinks from late afternoon until late evening, appetizers and desserts. Very clean, comfortable beds, shuttle service do helpful. Will be coming back again.
