The Madison Concourse Hotel and Governor's Club

The best hotel in Madison..!

We reserved. Room with the Governor Suite access which ended up being the best part. The room was a normal room, but the Governor Suite included breakfast, apps, dessert and open bar for 5 hrs in the evening. Location was right on the square. The city has a farmer’s market on Saturdays which is amazing. We were able to even walk over to the campus. Enjoyed our stay.

Room good sized & comfortable, in room coffee excellent, location excellent for Ironman, parking included, bed was decent, microwave available on request. Only complaint was the mirrors in room weren’t cleaned.

The Concourse Hotel is ideally located for walking to many locations - restaurants, theater, Farmer’s Market along the Capitol square. It has always been a go-to location for travelers. Its club level is nice and the staff there is attentive with food and drinks. Jesse in The Bar was friendly and welcoming. Rooms are clean and spacious and beds are comfortable. I think rooms could use some decor tweaks. One recommendation to management is to please replace toilet seats covers with soft close versions.

Service was great! The airport shuttle driver was very personable (I had to take an extra 2 trips due to a lost bag so we chatted a lot.) I was at the hotel for the Ironman and the convenience of location and food was appreciated… also, the temperature dropped a lot and the staff was helpful in having some spare hand warmers dug out of storage for me. All around a great hotel and trip.

The hotel is conveniently located next to a thriving downtown with countless dining and shopping options. We were able to walk to anything we wanted to do. Check in was a breeze and the parking garage was reasonably priced for the location. Our room was immaculate. The hotel itself was quiet and allowed for a relaxing getaway

Great clean friendly great location place to stay.

Every time we come to Madison we stay at this hotel. Perfect location and excellent service. My only complaint this time is that we requested service for the room on Sunday, left at noon, returned at around 8pm and room was not cleaned. This is the first time that had ever happened so I assume there was a miscommunication somewhere. Governors club level is definitely worth the extra cost.

Classic beautiful hotel. Staff were knowledgeable, capable and friendly. The place was beautiful and clean. No complaints.
