Le Sirene B&B

Great location central to main square. Room was extremely large and bed the most comfortable I’ve had on this trip so far!!

The hotel is in a great location, the host is very nice and was also flexible with our check in (we forgot to say when we would arrive, but no problem), breakfast was great, the room was very nice and clean and comfortable.

Casetta dotata dei comfort necessari per una permanenza piacevole a Ragusa Ibla; peccato che quest'ultima abbia restrizioni e limitazioni legate alla presenza di svariate ZTL e è meglio informarsi bene sull'apertura o meno di suddette zone in determinati periodi o giorni della settimana. Per il resto tutto VERY OK!

It was clean, spacy. The owner was very kind and helpful. We could use the kitchen for making coffee and tea.

Franca est une personne très agréable et serviable. Nous avon été très bien reçu. La chambre avait toute les commodités et l’endroit était très bien situé.

We loved it instantly. Our stay in Ragusa was only for one night but it still was a charming stay. The B&B is very stylish and tidy. Our hostess was friendly. We went for a night walk and stopped at a nearby pub for a drink. In the morning we went for a walk around the oldest part of town and had breakfast.

We spent a week at the Le Sirena B&B in Ragusa Ibla, Sicily and we highly recommend it for a stay in this marvelous Baroque hill town. The hosts, Franca and Gabe, who live next door, are gracious and accommodating. They know the town very well and gave us top-notch dinner recommendations and great impromptu tours of the winding streets and stairs of Ragusa. Le Sirena is a short stroll from the Piazza. It is modern and well-appointed while being very comfortable and relaxed. Rooms are spacious and appliances and fixtures are new and work well, including the A/C, which can be problematic in hotels in older sections of European towns. Our room opened onto a small balcony that let us see the comings and goings of the old Sicilian town. We look forward to returning to Ragusa and another stay at Le Sirena.

The baroque towns of Sicily are fantastic. Ibla is so easy to get around walking. You really feel that your in the 15th , 16th century. stay as close to the main church in Ibla. You can spend a day easily there exploring the local churches and museums. There was a museum above the main church that was someones home at one time. Great display of clothing, paintings and artifacts

My husband and I stayed at Le Sirene for 10 nights towards the end of September and cannot say enough good things about Le Sirene and Franca! It was our second time to Sicily, but first time at Le Sirene. Franca was very accommodating and always went the extra mile for us even arranging a driver for a private tour to Agrigento. Breakfasts were very good and while we wanted to and did experience typical Sicilian breakfasts, Franca also ensured our special requests were taken into consideration. Her restaurant recommendations were perfect for us. Le Sirene is very tastefully decorated combining much of the original stone with a modern touch. The bedroom was spacious, very clean and the bathroom was beautiful and large. The mattress was comfortable and high quality providing an excellent sleep. The breakfast and common area is comfortable with a sofa and a large fridge in the kitchenette off the common room for those extras that may not fit in the mini fridge in the room. The small balcony off the bed room came in very handy for drying clothes over our 10 night stay. With the assistance of Franca and her husband, we rented road bikes from an excellent bike shop in Ragusa Superiore (this was planned before we arrived). Ragusa Ibla was our base for cycling daily loops, including visits to Giarratana, Monterosso, Modica, Ispica, Scicli, Marina di Ragusa and Punta Secca, not to mention exploring the beautiful narrow lanes and alleys of Ragusa Ibla on foot. After full days of cycling, Le Sirene and Ibla quickly turned from a home base to a “home away from home”. We really appreciated how close this B&B is to the Duomo – a 5 minute walk from the centre of Ibla. We miss Le Sirene, Franca and Sicily and we will return!

With just two bedrooms and two couples holidaying together, this was just perfect for us. The rooms were lovely, with a small balcony and very large bathrooms. The breakfast, served at a time that suited us, was really good. We were greeted on arrival by Franca's husband, and met Franca the next morning. Both were extremely welcoming and friendly.
