"Matai Huka was the perfect stop on route to Wellington airport."

We arrived an hour after we booked online. Shona and Tony met us and were extremely welcoming and helpful. The accommodation was such a treat and very reasonably priced for it's size and comfort. The spa pool and continental breakfast were an added bonus to the stay. Thank you Shona and Tony. We will return one day.

Wonderful, peaceful, scenic place to stay, very convenient to town but exceptionally quiet. We lovel everything, but never figures out the coffee machine (didn't matter).

Beautiful little cottage with gorgeous garden. The host were very nice and helpful when needed while also providing privacy. We will be back next time we visit the Kapiti Coast.

Beautiful gardens and very friendly hosts. Bed was very comfortable and spacious unit with a proper kitchen.

The place could benefit from a spring cleaning after winter. The basics were clean (linnens, furniture etc) but edges for instance above the bed were collecting dust and the shower could use a demoulding. I’m sure when the seasons start again it will be in order.
