Entire hotel was filthy and need of renovation and a good cleaning

We arrived before the 3:00 check in and the lady behind desk was kinda rude. Asked if I knew when check in time was my answer was yes but we had traced along way so hard to judge about time. Needless to say she was rude. We left and came back after 4:00 and was given a room on first floor. The floor was dirty and the air conditioning barely worked but was tolerable. They have a great place to walk your dog

We booked 2 queens and were surprised with just one king bed. We are friends so little awkward. Rug was stained a dirty. But room seemed clean. Bed comfy. Elevator broke and had wheelchair lady stuck on 2nd floor. They had it fixed in <30minutes. Safe area.

Room was not very clean. Hallways were dirty

The staff at the facility were very friendly and helpful in all ways.

The towels were dirty, all of them! There was poop on the toilet seat. Checked out immediately and don’t recommend.

Not as clean or updated as most Hampton’s. Won’t stay here again

The bed was very comfortable. That is really the only positive.

Where to start....The pool was down for maintenance and we were told it would be operational the next day. It was not. The carpet in the room was very stained. The television did not work at all as all the stations had a "lost signal". Nothing would fix it. The water temperature was so high I almost burned myself ad the water adjustment on the shower handle was extremely difficult. There were two temperatures, scalding hot and cold. This is probably some sort of code violation. The breakfast was not great. One of the employees poured egg powder and hot water into the serving pan in the dining area and barely mixed it together. I am not naive to understand that hotel eggs are more than likely powdered but I did not want to "see how the sausage was made". The coffee was actually good. The worst part by far was we noticed right before going to bed that there was a plastic bag wrapped around the smoke alarm in our room. I called down to the desk and asked if this was something the hotel did. They said no and stated that it must have been a previous guest. HOW FREAKIN' LONG WAS IT THERE???? This is a major safety violation and could have been fatal for my family or someone else. Totally unacceptable!!
