Super 8 by Wyndham Ruther Glen Kings Dominion Area

The pool hasn’t been open in years it appears … there was a mattress at the pool and it was still very much covered. The breakfast is indeed a very light breakfast just had muffins and waffles and juice and some cereal and coffee. No coffee maker in the room. However, the room was great and comfortable. Shower was amazing (a little low) but we made do. Great location and definitely felt very safe :)

Absolutely nothing

Roaches no pool no breakfast I booked three rooms together we were put in three different corners of the motel. One room was given to us that actually had a cat and someone else staying in the room so we had to go back to the office and get another room for which there were still more roaches and bugs in the bathrooms were not clean. The bathtub was disgusting. It was gross.

Location and cost

Seemed like they were working on things in the room...broken door handle on inside of bathroom, patches being fixed in doors, my 1 year old daughter took her shoes off and her feet were black as coal in literally 2 minutes before I caught her from the floor. It was pretty bad

Would have spent more $$$ for nicer bathroom. Unfortunately soap scum, lite, but visible....other wise, good deal for service

Easy to get to off the interstate and no bed bugs.

Well...cockroaches for one...literally had a big one crawling along the wall and found the bug trap where...at least..they seem to be attempting to stem the issue. The pool is not just closed but drained and in disrepair. The ceiling was peeling...the room was seriously stained...the floor was so dirty your feet and socks would end up black. There was what looked like a bullet hole with bullet intact in the painting on the wall...the mirror was broken ..and the electrical was questionable considering the microwave randomly started on its own and wouldn't turn off. We eventually unplugged it. The furniture was missing knobs ...one of the least concerns. The cleaner clearly had long dark hair...we later learned the owners wife is the cleaner and yes she had long black hair. Our fellow guests appeared to have a thriving ..uh ...business. The traffic for said buisness, both foot and car, were ..interesting to say the least. It was quite an interesting stay.

Our stay at the Super 8 was extremely disappointing and overwhelming. In Room 123, the toilet was backed up, and in Room 115, we encountered roaches and a broken refrigerator that left a puddle of water on the floor. Both bathrooms had dirty tubs, and one of the washcloths had visible stains. Despite our efforts, it was difficult to cancel the second night, so we chose to drive the 8-hour trip home rather than stay another night. Based on our experience, my family and I would not recommend this motel.
