Hotel Le Marais

Some staff have been amazing.

Much homeless and drug use around, smells like garbage or actual poop around the hotel. This building is very old, and much accommodations you would get at other hotels are not here. I met 2 women and one guy while here, and the service has been great by the two women alone. The king room I got at 508 feels dirty. Even after a shower, it's not a great feeling after. I personally do not drink, I do not use drugs or smoke. If someone does use these substances, then maybe the spot is best for that type of life. Lots of homelessness, public drug use, drunks, horrible smells, and prostitution in this area. It's best to go to a place outside French Quarters such as Magazine Street.

Muy bien ubicado y céntrico, estás en medio de la calle más céntrica de todo Nueva Orleans. Las instalaciones están bien y está muy limpio.

Pedí varias veces al personal de hotel que me dejaran hacer un checkout 20 min más tarde de la hora establecida (de 12:00 a 12:20) por una videoconferencia que tenía que hacer y no me dejaron a pesar de que que el hotel no parecía estar lleno. El wifi también funcionaba bastante mal, me dijeron que solucionaría en el día y no fue así. Por último, ese día revisaban el protocolo antiincendios y no avisaron de que el ascensor no funcionaría, por lo que me tocó bajar tres pisos con una maleta de 20 kg sin ayuda.

Pierre and the rest of the staff were great! Rooms were clean. Shower pressure was amazing 👏 location is perfect 👌

We stayed here three nights. After three other hotels. This was the worst hotel of our stay. Tired , worn and in need of updating. The three stars are for location close to Royal street, quite nights sleep and Pierre. The only friendly person in the hotel we came across. A broken iron , chipped furniture, scratches and dents on the floor Broken telephone. A sub standard TV. A lift which made us question how safe it was. A pool which was like a pond. Furniture left out in pouring rain. . Free coffee and water. They did fetch extra coat hangers. I wish we hadn't have u packed i should have asked for a different room. We booked this with a travel agent . I wouldn't have chosen here. Nor should you. Sorry,New Orleans is lovely if you stick to anywhere other than the crazy street. I see someone got a upgrade we sadly didn't. The hotel wasn't busy.
