Days Inn by Wyndham Charlotte/Woodlawn Near Carowinds

Absolutely nothing everything about this place was horrendous and that’s being kind.

For one, the front desk staff was completely rude. Second of all, it was completely encased in bulletproof glass, which was obviously needed because during our stay, there was a lady chasing her husband down our hall with a gun in her hand, which caused multiple calls to 911. The lock on our room did not work at all, and there was no deadbolt. It was ripped out of the door. I had to use the sofa to wedge in between the wall and the door to keep it closed and somewhat locked. The room was completely covered in roaches when I say completely covered, I mean, crawling on us. There was a giant hole in the bathroom next to the tub where roaches were coming out of by the handfuls. There was no showerhead literally just a pipe spewing water. We could not get out of there fast enough I would not recommend anybody to stay here purely for their own health and safety. The health department needs to have this place looked at.

It was a place to sleep.

It didn’t feel very safe as a female to walk around alone. The breakfast wasn’t much but cereal and milk with I don’t eat either of. It REAKED of marijuana like soooooooo bad! They said it was non smoking and the smell was extreme and overwhelming. I don’t mind a puff every now and then but that was intense. The plumping was also quite poor and flushing wasn’t easy.

Love to call this review 10 things that are wrong with this hotel. First of all the pictures on Expedia and no matter where you look are showing a pool that looks awesome with a clean looking hotel and a big lobby and basically it’s a motel where prostitutes hang out at

Location

The Room was roach-infested. The bed was broken. No housekeeping service at all

Very clean, was quiet for the most part due to its location not being directly on the road. Comfortable king bed and AC worked great.

Unfortunately the pool was not available during our stay.
