Days Inn by Wyndham Charlotte/Woodlawn Near Carowinds

I never leave commented reviews. This is the worst Days Inn by Wyndham I've ever stayed at and its a reflection of the management and team. I travel for business so I have stayed at many Days Inns. This one has no elevator, so I had to climb stairs with several bags in my hands. They have a luggage cart, but that's useless for stairs. The hallway where the stairs are smells like cat pee and body odor. My bathroom had cracks in the wall and the bathroom floor and the hair dryer does not work. They advertise free breakfast and the pictures show a waffle maker, cereal, some bread and a juice dispenser. It was from 6am - 9am. I go down there 10 min to 8 and there is absolutely nothing there but maybe like 6 bagels and a coffee machine. There was no waffle maker, no juice, no cereal. When I asked front desk if they would be bringing it out they said that they overbooked for that day and everyone took everything. I said but there's no evidence of anything being used, like the missing waffle maker or the missing shelf of cereal. Not even juice machine was there. He goes "Yeaaahh...sorry about that." That was it. I was here on business so I specifically looked for these things when booking. I am highly disappointed and do NOT recommend this place at all unless you're just looking for a dingy place to crash. Don't expect much from here.

Location to railway and pricing.

Our room was 1st floor and literally a maze to get to and then the door closest to the room didn’t work to come in from outside you had to enter through front of building and travel down a maze of hallways. Also ac was off on a very hot day and the room never cooled to a comfortable temperature.

It took housekeeping to long come clean room we told them several times clean

Location

Dirty, cracks in walls, like staying in a cheap truck stop hotel. Toilet took over a minute to flush, carpet with holes/tears.

The TV was broken, phone to call the office not working, previous guest left their eyelash coming out of the bathroom sink and locks not secure for the room.

The room are clean and not noise around is good for sleep.

The outside entrance is not looking good.

Broken night stand, no remote to TV, unclean, they had roaches, had to throw away food. It smelled bad also.
