Quality Inn Rocky Mount near Event Center

Location

The beds were hard and uncomfortable. It seems like people reside there. There was very limited parking. The shower knob was broken holding on by a thread. We asked housekeeping for extra towels they said they would give us some but never did. Had to go to the front desk where the lobby was closed and you had to bring your concerns to a glass side window. There was only one elevator on the opposite side of the building where our room was. Our view was facing the pool which needed to be covered. I would not recommend this place.

. The staff

- smelly room with hair in bathroom and floor - upgraded after letting front desk know - noisy kids running in the halls they saw on camera and only did anything once we complained - Also, it is a smoke free property, however, a guest (?) had to have their marijuana when they rose and at bed time which triggered my asthma

The location

Everything. Place was nasty, smelled horrible. Bugs on floor and the place is old. Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone... the smell is so bad, it's like cigarettes or something died there...

Not very clean whoever cleans the rooms they dont clean well everything was unplugged. The rooms were nasty not swept they dont sweep behind things trash just everywhere. Bed was nasty alsi.

The breakfast was ok. The hotel location was ideal and located around businesses

The size of the bathroom

when the wifi broke, the staff tried to get me other source of internet. The bathroom was OK. The coffee machine at the reception is good.

Everything, the hotel didn't honor school discount, saying this is because I booked through booking.com. The room floor was uneven with a lot of cracks. The furniture was broken. The AC is very loud, and it wakes you in the middle of the night every time it starts working. The sheets had stains on it. someone left a dirty towel hanging on the smoke detector in the room, looks like they don't clean those rooms because it was there when I got the room. The microwave is very tiny as well as the fridge. The bathroom sink smells really bad. There was water on the floor beside the elevator from the ice machine that remained there all my stay. The hallway to my room had dirt and footprint the whole stay. The breakfast had muffins that looked rotten and french toast that really taste very old.
