Easy check in and out . Place was super clean and close to everything I need to be at . Service was excellent

There isn’t a thing I didn’t like

They double charged me fire my stay and have not processed a refund.

The staff was knocking at our room at 10am wanting to clean our room when check out was at noon.

Yesterday, Tuesday, November 4, 2025 I checked out of the Visalia Marriott at the Convention Center. This was my 2nd stay in this place. At check-in, the young man who helped me introduced me to their buffet-style breakfast. He said it was served from 6 to 11 a.m. and that it had a cost of 23 dollars. Yesterday morning at around 7 a.m., I decided to give it a try. There were 2 people with me in the elevator, they both had their luggage with them as if they were getting ready to check-out. I went to the front desk to inquire about the location of the breakfast buffet. By the time I made it to where the setup was, the two people that were with me in the elevator were ahead of me in the line. They moved on to check out the different servings and I stayed by the fresh fruit serving me a plate. All of the sudden, I feel this aggressive pull on my left arm. It was a lady asking me if I was with “the group” over there (pointing at the other side of the room). Confused, I told her no, “I am not with any group.” She then proceeded to let me know that the buffet was only free to “the group,” and that it had a cost of 23 dollars. I was going to stand there explaining things to her, but after quickly realizing the following, I decided to leave my plate on the table and leave. I never saw her or anyone question the two other people who got there at the same time I did about anything. As far as I’m concerned, no one had done anything differently than I. The assault committed against my person by pulling my arm to be questioned as if I was breaking the law or something to that effect. As I was leaving, I decided to ask for the Guest Services manager so I could share this disturbing occurrence. As I was speaking to one of the clerks in the lobby, I see the same lady coming at me from my left side. I quickly moved away from her when I saw she was ONCE AGAIN trying to assault me! As I was moving away from the assaulter, I asked the clerk to please ask her to stop trying to hurt me and the clerk with a dumbfounded look in her face (I’m sure she couldn’t believe what she was witnessing either) turned to speak to the lady who by that time had already been told that she needed to leave. Once the assaulter was gone, I made sure that both of the clerks (who had witnessed the whole incident) knew the whole story and how my only “fault” was wanting to get something to eat. I never intended not to pay for what I was getting. It was my 1st time trying to have breakfast at this location and I did not know how the whole thing worked. I had dinner at the bar the previous night. I sat down, the bartender took my order, served me, gave me a bill at the end, and I signed for it so the cost would be charged to my room. Nothing I am not used to when staying at any hotel. I am not sure why this lady thought it was okay to first assault and then harass me the way she did when she thought I was intentionally trying to grab food and leaving without paying for it. I left my name and number with two different employees asking them to pass my contact information to the a manager. I was told that at that time, the only manager on site was the one for the engineering department; therefore, they offered to take my name and number so that the proper manager would reach out. It has been over 24 hours and no one has called me. I will update this review when/if I ever hear from them.

Convention Center. Lobby area looks nice. Room clean but furniture stained and could use replacement. Placement of shower amenties in awkward spot. Breakfast was good - quality avocado toast and nice buffet with made order eggs/omelets. Coffee decent but not strong.

Todo bien. Excelente desayuno.
