They had bad bugs

For a second time in a row, I've stayed at this location on my visit. While the hotel is good in other ways, the fowl language at the bar is still hard to control. Again, I had to complain about the language and apparently the same man had been complained about before mine. Eventually a female bartender was able to get him to leave. The staff definitely needs training on how to stop this language from the get-go, especially if he had been complained about before. Otherwise, it is too bad that women in the bar area have to be subjected to this type of behavior at all. Otherwise, the grounds and hotel are of quality.

It was a last minute choice, but I was thrilled with the Marriott in Visalia. Lots of convenient parking, nice part of downtown, recently renovated rooms, and a great buffet breakfast. The amenities at the hotel are great; pool/hot tub, exercise area, washer dryer, business center with printer. I really liked the renovated rooms with the sectional sofa and table. A special thanks to Mayra at the front desk, and to Danny at breakfast.

The Marriott Convention Center in Visallia is a nice property. The room we had (2 queen with a couch) was spacious enough for my wife and me. My complaints about the property are these: the parking wasn't free, although in and out was simple enough. I expect free parking unless I'm in San Francisco, NYC, etc. I also was disappointed that there wasn't free coffee. I don't drink the brand they had for sale in the lobby, so not having my morning cofffee was a bummer. The staff were very helpful, no complaints, only three cheers! We were there as a central base for trips to national parks. Very easy to get onto the interstate for Yosemite and Sequoia National Parks. Easy drive to Fresno where we landed after a connection in San Francisco.

Great hotel, hope they will have a complimentary water 2-4 bottles like in las vegas nevada and lake tahoe.

The front desk staff was horrible and treated us horribly sine we booked and I quote “thru 3rd party services” despite having a clear booking receipt with proof of 2 rooms- refused to honor until I spent 30 min on the phone to call booking customer service to confirm our booking of two rooms. Never once did they apologize or offer to help. Once in our rooms they were in poor condition. Cracked sink, lots of wear and tear and full cobwebs in the rooms. Would never stay here or with Marriott again.
