Mid-City Motel

great hotel close to downtown near the soo locks.

It was everything we needed.

Nothing other than the young lady at the front counter was pleasant.

The room was disgusting!! The curtains didn’t close, no lights in the room, carpet so stained I would never take my shoes off. The beds looked really dirty. The water in the bathtub was running so hard, could not shut off, if you were able to start the shower if would be at full blast!! I believe this is the worst motel room I have been in ever! I was totally surprised that it would be on the booking.com site.

stay here for cheap but comfy stay

This place is a dump. I reserved a double queen room, but i had to choose whether i wanted it because the lights didnt work and the shower faucet was broke and water was running non stop. I opted for another room, which was a single. Room was dirty, stains on floor, handicapped seat on toilet wasnt removable, curtains barely hangin on, ice machine didnt work, neighbors were noisy, roomed smelled like smoke and pee. Bed was 2 box springs and super uncomfortable. Do not stay here, this is your warning and dont say I didnt warn you.

People are friendly and really seem to care.

Room had musty odor. Banged my head on staircase ceiling which is too low and no warning sign.

The location was PERFECT for us! The freezer and fridge worked great. Most of those types don't usually FREEZE things but this did, so we were good to go in the morning with our FROZEN ice packs. The beds were ok, we had two. One was soft and the other was firmer (yay!!)

We left at 7am... before the coffee at the office was brewed. I do not know when it opened. The screen in our room had a giant hole in it but we taped paper across it! (solved) The curtains and rod has definitely been around a little too long! Took a bit to get them to close all the way, SO glad I travel with clothespins!! (solved) The Wi-Fi was not very good at all. I used my phone's hotspot to run the tablet for music. (solved) Those are minor details when all we wanted was a place to sleep that wouldn't break the bank!! It will suck if they ever update because then the prices have to reflect that. We will return ☺

Dirty filthy place. They should tell you that they have weakly Rentals. A car setting outside of my room was used as a storage shed.
