Mid-City Motel

There was nothing to like.

People wandering around the parking area. Decided to check the room prior to my stay. When I got to the room the door was already open, the television was on, and lights were on. It was obvious someone was in the room just prior to our arrival. Did not feel safe personally, or for my vehicle. We turned the keys back in and found other accommodations.

Nothing

The condition of the premises, accumulated trash, conditions of the room, among many, see pictures, power distribution, heating element with no cover, front door that appeared to have been kicked in at some time. We opted to not stay, informed the manager, she said she understood and supposedly requested a credit from booking.com, said I should see it on my account in 3-5 days. This property appeared to be home for day to day or week to week renters not travelers

The facilities were old and need updating.

The room was clean

Manager was very kind but…. The property was the worst I have seen. It was like I was in a 3rd world country slum. Room smelled of mold and smoke. As soon as my wife entered, she started to have gag reflex from the smell. We left the room immediately and just slept in the seats of our van. This property rents out weekly rooms (not a good thing).
