We recently stayed at the Embassy Suites Alexandria Old Town and had an amazing time. Our room was comfortable and clean. The provided shampoo, conditioner, hand soap, body wash, and body lotion smelled amazing. Their breakfast was great and prepared to your liking, whether it was an omelette or eggs made the way you like them, along with sausage, bacon, breakfast potatoes, French toast, pancakes, waffles, or toast, bagels, muffins. Seriously, it was a great breakfast! The evening reception with two free drinks for adults, along with free appetizers for everyone and a candy station (Andes mints, M&Ms, and Reeces Pieces). Parking is the only drawback. Parking is about $40 per night, in a parking garage underneath the hotel, but the spaces are tight. Really tight. The Metro station is literally across the street. This is where you will also catch the free King Street Trolley, which takes you down King Street where there are places to eat, shop, and watch your favorite sporting events! I would definitely stay at this hotel again.
