Econo Lodge Marion I-81

The staff were nice. The rooms are decent enough. Might have been upgraded not long ago.

Don’t get a room on the back side of the property. A group of meth-heads must live there. They were up literally all night outside smoking cigarettes and weed outside my door, which leeched into my room from HVAC. They had guests hanging out making noise and finally left at 3am. They continued to party though. Five trains seemingly came through the room during the night. The tracks are very close to the property.

Room was clean

Lock was broken and a Kleenex was stuffed in the hole Advertised breakfast and they didn’t have any Very poor looking room

Staff was very helpful

The tall lamp by the comfortable chair doesn't work.

Booked online got to the facility, not only was it dirty and run down, but no one was at the front desk and when I called the phone that said to dial zero it rang at the front desk right in front of me. I waited 10 minutes and couldn't get anyone to check me in. I had to leave and find another place to stay.

Room was poorly maintained. Dirt in a/c vents, blowing out. Walls weren’t painted properly with scratches, etc everywhere. Bed frame was worn out and made terrible noises whenever you moved. Would not recommend to anyone. We had not choice but to stick it out and get on our way. For a Choice Hotel, the check in person just laughed when we check in, for being a member!!

Good stay. What I expected. Clean. Needs updates bad. Good for a quick stay

I killed over 15 cockroaches it was dirty and in disarray. He says they sprayed but... Definitely wasn't a good night sleep which felt like the mattress was as hard as the floor.
