Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott San Antonio Airport/North Star Mall

Not bad

Unfortunately I didn't stay at Fairfield inn they ran out of rooms. But they did move us next door to The Courtyard. They gave us a room with a balcony for the same price at Fairfield.

Really nothing

place was clean and staff was friendly.

Tired hotel with cramped bathroom with inadequate A/C in the room and A/C absent in hallways and the elevator. While the bed was comfortable, it was unstable on the base and the bottom sheet would not stay on the mattress. There were "buggers" on one of the walls next to the bed. The TV worked intermittently and with barely audible sound. Finally, the toilet was not only stained, but it required maintenance two our of the three days of our stay. While personnel were attentive and professional, I would not recommend this hotel as I will not stay there again. Almost forgot to mention the drinking and smoking a group of individuals engaged in every night at the parking lot, impacting my sense of safety and security.

Noise level with adjacent rooms. When door closes seems as if it's your room.

Breakfast was OK. Staff very friendly and helpful

Elevator very slow but not a big issue

Our room smelled heavily if chlorine (from the pool below?) & it was intense.
