Harbor Court Hotel

Excellent location. Wonderful staff. The feel of the lobby was great for informal meetings and catching up on some work.

One of my best best birthdays thanks to my hubby and Carlos Tenoreo who works at the front desk and effortlessly is runny the entire hotel in my opinion. Service was exceptional. He greeted us graciously explaining maneuvering the hotel, the use of the YMCA, next door, and bikes use. Carlos' energy is an amazing zest he naturally exudes. The hotel is right across from Pier 14 and there's convenient walkable restaurants and coffee shops, even boat access to Angel Island and Sausalito, and buses-even Waymo! The beds and pillows were superb as was the personalities of other staff we encountered. Valet was a little pricey $72, but coffee, fruit and muffins for breakfast made up for it as well as evening wine. Valet does move fast! The hotel is a fun experience! Thank you Carlos for being such an awesome soul.

I recently spent a week at the Harbor Court Hotel while in town for business, and it truly exceeded my expectations. It’s a beautiful, historical downtown hotel that manages to feel both classic and completely comfortable. From the moment I checked in, the service was top-notch. Janelle at the front desk was an absolute highlight of my stay—she was an exceptional host and just a warm, friendly face to see throughout the entire week. My room offered absolutely breathtaking views of the Bay Bridge and Treasure Island. Waking up to that scenery and seeing the bridge lit up at night was incredible and really made the stay feel special. They offer a nice continental breakfast in the morning with fresh fruit, pastries, coffee, and juice to get your day started. If you're looking for a more substantial breakfast, the hotel is perfectly located within easy walking distance of a ton of great local restaurants. Another fantastic perk they offer is bicycles you can sign out, which made it super convenient to get around the area and explore a bit during my downtime. In the evenings, they host a complimentary wine tasting event from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM, which was the perfect way to unwind after a long day of meetings. For fitness, guests get full access to the YMCA right next door, which features great facilities that far exceed your standard hotel gym. Plus, having Ozumo Japanese restaurant right next door made grabbing an amazing dinner incredibly easy. Overall, the Harbor Court Hotel hits all the right notes for comfort, convenience, and hospitality. Whether you're traveling for business or a personal getaway, this place has to be on your list of places to stay. I highly recommend it and will definitely be back!

The room was quite small and did not have enough space for my luggage, even though I was traveling with only one bag. The bathroom was also very small, and since I have a hand injury, it was difficult to shower comfortably. What really made a difference during my stay was the staff and breakfast. They were incredibly friendly, proactive, and empathetic. I would return because of them, although I would definitely request a larger room next time.

I loved the location of the hotel. I took the ferry to the Ferry building stop and loved that I only had to cross the street to get to my hotel. I walked most places and had a nice morning walk/run in one of the most beautiful cities in the world. The staff was lovely too.

I had a room next to the elevator and below a busy room. It was a little noisy in the morning.

Nice design, friendly staff, and nice that breakfast was available in the lobby every morning. I didn't take advantage of the bike rental, gym access, or happy hour, but it was nice to know they were available.

As other reviews have stated, the room was extremely small. I was traveling solo, but I can't imagine staying there with another person. The shelf over the bathroom sink was the biggest issue-- I couldn't wash my face in the sink without hitting my head on the shelf.

Loved our stay! Old charm building & fabulous staff!

The location alone is worth it! I walked to the Ferry Building farmers market in 4 minutes, grabbed coffee from a spot around the corner every morning, and had Bay Bridge views from my room that honestly made it hard to leave. The wine hour surprised me. It’s not just a free drink, it’s the whole vibe of the place. Relaxed and intimate. The staff matched that energy completely, they were very warm and friendly. For anyone who wants to actually experience San Francisco and not just sleep in it, this is your hotel. You’re on the waterfront, close to transit, walking distance to everything that makes this city worth visiting.
