Embassy Suites by Hilton Temecula Valley Wine Country

The only reason this place gets two stars instead of one is the staff. They were friendly and doing their best. Everything else is rough. The hotel is completely worn down. The elevator feels like it’s on its last leg. The sliding bathroom and bedroom doors are scratched up and look like they’ve been painted over countless times. Baseboards are beat up, finishes are chipped, and the whole place just feels old and neglected. This isn’t something a renovation fixes. It feels like a property that’s been patched over for years instead of properly maintained. What’s really disappointing is the Hilton name. That used to mean you could count on a clean, solid stay. This felt like the exact opposite.

The light system in the room was very confusing, and was poor in the living area.

I don’t like giving bad reviews but this one deserves everything that went sour. If it weren't for the friendly staff like the maintenance guy, Raul, I would give this a one star. Raul was great, by the way. My friend is a Platinum status. That is many years of Hilton dedication. I will list down things in order as they were discovered. 1. Patio sliding door was off its tracks. We called right away due to incidentals. 2. The shower couldn't be turned off. We called for maintenance 3. We were missing some towels and pillows and bedding. We called for housekeeping twice 4. As we were about to rest for the night after a long travel day, the fire alarm came on. Everyone had to vacate the building. As we found our way to the front of the hotel, it turned out to be a false alarm. This happened twice in one day. 5. The bed I slept on way uncomfortable. Squeaky and springy. 6. One pillow was lumpy like it had small pieces of foam cut up. 7. Decor, carpeting, hardware like door, hinges, and bathroom fixtures need updating. After all this, and as my friend being a platinum member, these issues that were reported was brushed off their shoulder as if saying “Next.” I understand management has heard complaints and it wasn’t just us, and that management would rather not invest in making the hotel better. As the hotel brush this off, guests such as us, will support accommodations that care. Next!

staff did not answer the phone right away T.V in room hard to navigate . wrong room number on phone in room charged us $50.00 to check in two hours early. we come here often and are Hilton honors members

We loved the breakfast. The omelets were made to order and were delicious. The cocktail hour was also a plus.
