"Good"

The hotel was very expensive. Our room had old left overs in the mini fridge, a used bar of soap in the bathroom and the pull out bed was so uncomfortable you could feel the springs all night. It also was the size of a twin bed. There are so many better hotels in Fishkill/poughkeepsie. Don’t even waste your time at this place.

Was happy about cleanliness and the size of the room and amenities in the room. Love they offer 24hr snack/drink to purchase. Went in October and I’m a hot sleeper so sucked not having AC/fan

"Needs upgrade"

This hotel is in a drastic need of upgrade. Cushions on couch were stained, doors didn't shut properly, and very damp and musty. Our clothing felt damp even. The staff was very kind, but weren’t able to fix anything.

"You have to pay for a mediocre breakfast"

For the most part, everything was as expected. The exception was the upcharge for breakfast. I cannot recall the last time I stayed in a similar leve and location type of lodging where complimentary breakfast, even of a continental type, was provided. Coming down in the morning and getting whacked with an addition $30 upcharge was unexpected.

"Make sure you have a car."

Pros: Friendly staff. Comfortable bed. Cons: No where near the airport. If you don't have a car, then you are stuck with what the hotel offers. The whirlpool closed for maintenance INDEFINITELY. The "heated" pool (what the website says) was NOT heated. The room was cold. Nothing could be done to warm it up on this very rainy day (TS Debby was coming). The "Restaurant" (what it was called on website), "Bistro" (what it is called locally) was disappointing. The staff did the best they could being only ONE single person. However, the food was mediocre at best and EXTREMELY overpriced. I get it, one person can only serve so many people, so quickly & have it turn out tasty. IT WAS NOT THE STAFF's FAULT. It is how corporate portrayed it & then staffed it.
