Scenic Hotel Marlborough

The location is great. It is close to downtown and we were able to walk to shops and restaurants. For the price paid I expected a more upscale hotel. The front desk staff were very pleasant and helpful.

Hotel is in a good central location in the town. A little away from the "main" streets so was still nice and quiet. Reasonable options available within a short walking distance away for food and drink. The hotel is not new, it has obviously been around for a long time but was in a reasonably good quality.

Parking can be a bit of a challenge with a limited number of spaces. That said the hotel does have some overflow options.

The room was quite average, like a 1970’s motel room with a funny baby carport in front of the front door that only a Bambino could park in

Walking distance to town. Clean comfy rooms. Good bathroom

location is good as are the facilities however the beds were a bit hard

I’ve stayed before the staff are lovely!

Sometimes parking is a pain although they do have an overflow area across the road.

Central location directly across from Seymour Square and a quick walk into shops & cafes. Rooms were well appointed and a good size plus nice to see good quality hand,body lotion etc instead of a cheap alternative
