"Nice hotel in quiet safe area"

Winderful staff. Love the private small balconies. Great room service and good food. Overall very good compared to others. as I have stayed at other hotel near this area. Only negatives were no refrigerators nor Ice machines to keep drinks cold! Compleantery water daily as that's needed. You cannot brush your teeth with that water. I will continue my stays at this place in the future!

"A hidden gem 15 minutes from the centro"

The Mision Oaxaca is a real bargain! Clean and comfortable, it feels like a much more expensive place, and the courtesy and treatment is 5 star. Staff are all very friendly (although English is limited). The room we stayed in had a lovely view of the mountains towards downtown Oaxaca. The breakfast buffet is good (though more vegetarian options would be nice), and the pool is lovely. The only downside is the pool (which is supposed to be heated) was very cold except for one day. They turned the heater on, but I think their water thermometer is broken. Hopefully that will be fixed soon. Highly recommended for a calm and peaceful stay just a 10-15 minute cab ride outside the centro,

The place is different and very pleasant. Staff is very kind and ready to assist. Cleaned and confortable. The best thing is that they provided transportation from the hotel to the downtown area free every hr until 10:00pm

"Recommended if you like big pillows"

Everything was great service was awesome,restaurant food was delicious... I thought the hotel was going to be more local but it was actually a 20 minute drive from the Centro.... our pillows were way too big made it uncomfortable for us to sleep on them.

"Shuttle hours are friendly "

Breakfast was always cold. The hotel staff is friendly and all of our requests were taken care immediately. Aside of the restaurant I will recommend this hotel to my friends and family.
