Baymont by Wyndham Coon Rapids

We stayed for 3 nights. There was no wifi and as people travelling in a different country we relied on this. The entire time it was not repaired and they Continued to tell us they were working on it. The pool was completed closed - no access. Breakfast was bagels and eggo waffles - no other options. Not even fruit or yogurt. Coffee was never replaced. Breakfast was advertised at 6am during the weekdays but wasn’t set up until 7:30am. The staff was never actually behind the counter and among All this - when we brought these to their attention the staff shrugged and did Not care. We asked for some compensation and were Told no - we could call a manager if we wanted to complain. Would not stay again.

Smells like pee

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! When we arrived and got checked in to the room. First thing when we got in the room the room smelled gross!!!! We noticed the windows are filthy. The shower rod was hanging half off the wall. There was hair in the tub. Puke on the chair. When I went to the front desk and told the guy about all these issues he acted like he didn't care. He didn't offer another room or anything. The pool wasn't available when they said it was when the room was booked. The desk clerk was rude and not very friendly. I would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone! Very unprofessional in all ways!

The cost of this room was enormous for the way it looked, no phone in room, TV did not work, no ice machine in building that worked. Will never stay here again.

The staff was nice. The elevator worked, the AC worked, and the lobby was nice. The curtains fell, there were some broken windows, the coffee maker in the room didn't work, the sheets were too big for the bed and kept falling off, the pool was closed, and the bathrooms by the pool were locked.

I was very unhappy with my stay I’m already in a situation due to me losing everything to a house fire. The prices are extremely high and very unreasonable. Nothing ever looks like the pictures but I guess when you have mishaps in life this comes with that.

Clean

Baymont in Coon Rapid service and management is terriable. Their pool has been under repairs for over 6 months. Took our mony and wouldnt return when hwe learned there was no pool after being booked there after we asked for hotel with pool.

Squalor and filth - too much to describe. The bedding appeared to come from a thrift store and had lots of stains (use your imagination). Seedy people lingering around inside & out that made me feel unsafe. Surprisingly the front desk staff were very friendly.

We booked directly from the website and were not notified that the pool was under construction or even at check-in. The bathroom counter face panel was falling off. There was hair and a long string of chalk on the bathroom floor when we checked. We were told there were no other rooms available. Severely understaffed and inadequate resources. For example, when we asked for towels we were told "I haven't had time to wash them, I've been dealing with too many issues." Then the ice machine was out of order. When we checked out 2 1/2 hours before checkout a day early due to mounting concerns, we were told we had to pay for the final day because they couldn't rent the room. I've stayed at many hotels and checked out early due to changing work schedules and never been charged. More likely they didn't have staff to clean it. Not our issue.
