Hampton Inn Atlanta NW Cumberland

Hotel served our needs for a baseball weekend. Room was comfortable, breakfast had a great variety. Would stay here again.

Stayed here during a weekend visit to Atlanta recently. The hotel was convenient for our activities. The property is in desperate need of an update/refresh. Its seen heavy use and it shows. Only one elevator was functioning, the heating/ac unit wasnt exactly quiet. The breakfast area is small and crowded. Offerings for breakfast were so good we went to McDonalds on the next day. We did get what we booked, but it was not at a level that one would be(or had been) expected of a brand within the Hilton portfolio. It seems that the issues noted are not confined to just this location. For the cost Hilton is asking, there needs to be value there. A noticeable downgrade in the guest experience has been noticed at other properties as well. For many years, the Hilton portfolio was our go to, but we have been exploring and using other options that provide more value and quality for the money spent. For us this was a disappointment, but for others it might be just fine. Keep your expectations moderate here.

The building is kinda rundown with peeling paint and water leaks

I stay here at least once a week for work. It’s my favorite hotel in the area. If you’re a nurse and you work nights they have the best black out curtains in the city. The breakfast is good especially the eggs the Hispanic women do an amazing job cooking. The staff is friendly, the water pressure is great and it’s close to the mall

Staff was great. Pool was out doors & not open yet, but overall good

Carpeting in the room was wet-a/c leak, mattresses flimsy and not comfortable, AND finally the toilet leaked in the bathroom

Staff was extremely friendly, which is always one of the most important & appreciated factors that I remember about a stay! Big thank you for exceptional customer service when we checked in! Hotel and room were very nice and clean; bed was super comfy! Walkable to Truist Park if you choose & we come to ATL for the Braves so that was key! A shuttle would be wonderful but, wouldn’t keep us from staying again. Breakfast was delicious & plenty of seating. Very pleased overall and I’m sure we will be back

We had to move rooms 3 times because of AC problems, the tv didn’t have Netflix or other streaming platforms. The shower head was broken, the power outlet didn’t work. The staff was super nice though.

Room was old & need updated. Not enough staff on hand to handle up keeping.
