Have been several times. Love the position. The staff are lovely. Big shout for the reception staff, the man in charge of the restaurant . Especially the young lady i think from south africa . Also the bar man in the tavern Enjoyed breakfast

Our room was fine . Bathroom spotless. dust though at back of the bedside units on the top surface. Hotel needs tlc , we believe it is for sale. That may explain it

The view was absolutely stunning. I really enjoyed how they staggered guests start-times for breakfast in order to ensure everyone got a table with a view. It was also a nice spot to retreat with a drink for the evening. We also took advantage of the spa services and got hot stone massages which were lovely. The room was spacious and cozy and had a lot of welcoming touches.

If you are driving with sat nav it might take you the back roads - we turned right according to sat nav even though there was a sign that informed the NEXT right would be the turn to the hotel. Save yourself the headache of a windy & narrow backroad and just stick to the signage.

Perfect location with views of the lake. Room was large and comfortable. The spa was lovely. Restaurant and tavern were very nice too.

Bathroom was a little dated, but was large with both a bath and shower, although the cubicle was a little small.

Amazing location and some of the staff were brilliant.

Our room was ridiculously hot. The weather was exceptionally warm but no air conditioning, no fan even. We were in the loft so the roof was being heated by the sun. When we arrived the curtains were not drawn and the windows were closed so the room was like an oven. Two of the staff were sullen, verging on rude.

A grumpy waiter in the restaurant I ordered a lager & lime & he thought I said lager & lemonade he didn't he moaned went off & returned with my drink, no apology

You come here for the view, and it's stunning. But the restaurant is excellent too. Splendid evening menu, and generous breakfast. Staff very friendly and helpful. Plenty of hot water. Plenty of electrical sockets. Bed very comfy. An expensive treat - but it's worth it. Thanks to all concerned.

Wi-Fi speed isn't the quickest, but I found it OK for an overnight stay, including for Zoom meetings.
