It was beautiful, most amazing views, great facilities, lovely staff

About my 5th time here now and enjoyed it as usual. Beautiful room, balcony, views. Buffet breakfast tasty.

Cost per night just keeps going up. There’s a £5 room service charge each time an order is made to room. Had to pay on card each time instead of normally been charged to the room at the end for purchases on site, in bar, restaurant etc. Spa should be included in the cost and not an additional extra £15 for 2 hours. A swimming pool would be nice too :-) The ‘gym’ is very small and only about 5 pieces of equipment in there, they need some weights and a bigger area / room.

As return visitors we booked a lake view room which was spacious and very comfortable. The staff are all polite and well presented.

Last year when we stayed with you the evening dining was a very special meal, however this year we were very disappointed with the standard of the food served. The steak had a big piece of grisly around the top of it which made it very difficult to cut. The chips overwhelmed the plate and added nothing to the meal. The sea bass was lovely however it was served with a very rich tomato sauce which was far too strong for the delicate taste of the fish. The standard of the meal seemed to have fallen from fine dining to a meal similar to pub grub but at fine dining prices. We love the place but feel that we probably will not return if this was to be the standard of food being offered. Such a shame.

Its location, the hotel itself and a room with a view of the lake. The food was excellent. The staff were very friendly and courteous, making sure you-felt special. Nice gardens to walk around
