"Does not meet Hilton or ES basic standards. Sad"

I have been a Hilton Diamond for 7 years straight, so I think Iโ€™m qualified to say that this hotel does not meet the brand in almost every way. Sad is my only thought. Whatโ€™s wrong.. The front desk is rude or at least inpatient and made feel as if i was bothering them. My room has poor to no heat, when I inquired, before I could finish my sentence, I was told โ€œitโ€™s an old building, weโ€™ll send up a heaterโ€ and he walked away. The water pressure is poor and worse it fluctuates widely, making showers exciting but not fun. The ES famous happy hour is a joke! I felt like i was going through TSA or customs just trying to get a drink, the bartender (lol) lady behind the omelette station, that made my drink, was rude, and inspected and crossed out my drink drink coupon for days the weekend and itsโ€™s Tuesday! WTF? More importantly the nice thing about the happy hour in other is meeting new people but when they serve drinks out of the omelette station, NOT the BAR!, then you donโ€™t get to meet people, other travelers, here you get your drink and move on, it felt like a Seinfeld โ€œsoupโ€ event. They closed 1 minute early because they canโ€™t be bothered with guestsโ€ฆ. Anyways, I could go on, but just not a well run place, sorry

Very good breakfast, great size room, great view watching the planes come in, love the balcony and being able to hear the waves, and the courtyard is wonderful to see and relax in.

Very cool atrium on ground level, loved my balcony to the bay, loved the amazing staff at front desk as well as the happy hour crew. I was there for work but it felt like a mini vacation haha! I would absolutely stay again!
