TV in room 422 did not work as well as coffee pot

Wir waren schon um Mittag da und dachten wir könnten die Zeit bis zum Check-in im Pool verbringen (deshalb haben wir uns auch für dieses Hotel entschieden). Leider ging das nicht, erst nach dem Check-in um zirka 14:30. Als wir nach einem längerem Check-in (zirka 15min Wartezeit, weil die Rezeptionistin mit dem erst 3 Tage alte System nicht klarkam und niemanden fragen wollte) in den den Pool wollten, hatte es bereits eine Horde Kinder (15-20 Kinder Kindergeburtstag?) im Pool und wir sahen davon ab. Dies ging das bis spät abends und der Innenhofe sowie die Aufzüge waren alle mit Wasser vollgekleckert. ;-) am nächsten Morgen war eine Scheibe kaputt, due Kinder haben ordentlich Gas gegeben. Wir vermuten es ist bekannt für den Pool und deshalb so beliebt bei Familien.

The AC was a bit warm, the breakfast ended early.

Rooms in urgent need of renovations. Rooms very dark and dirty. Beds saggy and very uncomfortable. All areas need paint and a good cleaning. Bar very expensive…13.00 for a Barcardi rum as they say it’s “top shelf”. Only positive is the view of the bay and planes landing!

We had no choice but to book this hotel as a family of 6 touring SF, as nearly everything else was unavailable/too small. I would not return here. Impressive lobby/evening reception area at first blush but old. Elevator made clunking noise. Rooms are in desperate need of refresh-- smell moldy, grout in bathroom black, switches broken on wall, very dusty upon arrival. TV interface from 90s-- yet modern enough to be cashless? Most alarming problem: the front desk cannot be reached nearly ever. We had a few questions prior to checking in: never got a live person. Once here, automated front desk message half the time (need toilet paper, new towels, etc) Housekeeping knocked instantly on the door at 8am to make up room. Had drinks in the bar last night here and cost was like being at the airport--$13 draft beer? Smallest hot tub I have ever seen for a hotel this size. Avoided it and pool. Fitness center had good machines and equipment but moldy airvents-- just like in our view. Overall: high on the ick factor. Cool view of planes landing over the water but, unless other hotels are somehow worsely rated, would avoid in the future if ever traveling to the area again.

Cost to park was a disgrace - it would make me never come back. I couldn’t believe how expensive it was when you were already spending a lot to stay, and it wasn’t even especially secure
