"Small but clean and conveniently located."

I only needed a place to sleep, so the fact that it was extremely small didn't matter to me. The front desk staff was extremely nice. We walked to it from the train station.

"Nice location but so small"

We have stayed there for 2 nights, the rooms are very very small. Even you can not open the bathroom door while the wardrobe door is open. Also the room corridor is so narrow that you can't walk while the bathroom door is open. It is only a bed and it's room... price is reasonable,location is good. Open buffet Breakfast is good for a price of 6.5 euros.

"Great place to stay"

We enjoyed visiting Düsseldorf for a few days. The Monopol hotel is located walking distance from the Düsseldorf train station, with underground city lines even closer. The staff was very friendly and went out of their way to make our stay more enjoyable. The breakfast buffet is a very good value with a selection of meat and cheese cuts, cereal, eggs (scrambled or hard boiled), yogurt and more. The rooms are typical European size and very clean. I would definitely recommend this for the budget traveler.

"Central hotel close to all transport links."

The staff at the hotel were very welcoming and helpful. The hotel foyer and breakfast room were bright and cheerful with interesting decor. Our room was adequate for our needs and cleaned daily. Toiletries were replenished daily if necessary. There was access to tea/coffee/hot chocolate etc in the foyer 24/7 which we often took up to our room.

"MESSE"

IF A BIG TRADE FAIR IS MESSE IS ON IN DUSSELDORF ALL HOTELS GET FULL AND CHARGE CRAZY PRICES I PAID 200 A NIGHT FOR A HOTEL WHICH PROBABLY NORMALLY 75 SMALL ROOM AND TINY BATHROOM IN FACT ITS A SHOWER ONLY

"nice city hotel"

good value for money if you are on a short trip. The hotel offers all you need and have a very good breakfast for only 5 Euro per person can recommend this hotel. location is closed to all attractions and good restaurants are near by

"Short stay break"

Three day break, last minute. We were in a room at the rear, so quiet. Whether just our room or all rooms, I don't know, but, no tea coffee making facilities. There was free tea and coffee in foyer 24/7 though. Breakfast was good value at 5 Euros, and very good variety. Pleasant staff. Good atmophere.Clean. Not a large or classy Hotel, but for what we paid, very good value.
