Hampton Inn by Hilton Indianapolis-South

We have stayed here multiple times as a stop to/from our trip to the southwest. One reason was the number of restaurants in walking distance. The other is proximity to the interstate. This past trip I was disappointed in the condition of the hotel. It is in desperate need of refreshing. Rooms were not as clean as they should be and things didn't work, such as the coffee maker. Also there were no more cookies at the front desk or grab and go bags at breakfast, which were such a nice touch.

Beds are comfortable and the shower was great.

Very little light in bathroom and is under construction for updates. Might need to adjust pricing some as 189 for 1 night is a little much for the area.

The guy working the front desk when I checked in was dealing with a particularly aggressive patron. He handled it with class and was killing him with kindness. He also could not have been nicer to me either or more helpful. He should be given a raise.

The breakfast could use more of a selection the hotel room were clean and stocked with all the bathroom supplies needed for our stay

The staff is good. The breakfast provided a lot of options, but the room is smelly when I entered. The insulation is not good. I could hear noise came from the rooms nearby or the hallway. The air conditioner was so loud that I had to turned it off when I slept. This was the worse Hampton Inn that I lived in the past.

Good value. Breakfast was ok.

Great hotel. Clean and spacious rooms. Breakfast was cold and front desk night lady was pretty rude. Otherwise great overnight stay.

I had a great stay. The breakfast was awesome, the rooms were clean and staff were very friendly.
