the staff we encountered was friendly. we appreciated the limited free breakfast offered. my kids enjoyed the pool.

turn down service needed to be “requested” because of supposed staff shortages, which was never said until after we encountered problems with the cleanliness of our room. i had to request a broom to use to clean up crumbs left from my toddler that were left for two days in a row, and had attracted ants. i also had to request towels and new garbage bags repeatedly during my stay. i even brought two 13 gallon garbage bags from home that i filled during my stay for housekeeping since no one entered my room.

The breakfast was horrible. They only serve cereal, muffins, bagels , yogurt and oranges and the bagels didn’t come with cream cheese very basic breakfast.

The rooms are old fashion needs to be updated . Didn’t feel very clean in the rooms.

The price was affordable and you get what you pay for.

It’s only 2 floors, so there are no elevators. Our bathroom could have been cleaner.

The room was not very clean. There was a used tooth pick on the floor, something spilled in the fridge that didnt work properly, old coffee in the coffee pot and trash in the drawers. The room smelled I'm not sure if it was the factory next door or what but it smelled bad.. The hotel is next to active train tracks and trains run through a lot.

I really enjoyed the man who checked us in. He was so sweet and helpful. I hope he gets a day off very soon. He’s been working everyday since May unfortunately.

The GM Brittany was very rude and nasty to guests. I felt more welcome with the male representative. The rooms were filthy with hair in the bathtub, the fan in the bathrooms didn’t work, the phones didn’t work, the plug ins didn’t work, and the “heated pool” was freezing. When Brittany was addressed with these complaints she came to the room and did a quick wipe in the bathtub. She never provided a new room, she didn’t provide a thorough cleaning, it was as if our complaints weren’t valid, and she was angry that she had to take care of our filthy room. I will never book a room here again in the future. Terrible experience.

It was cheap, and my dog could stay, but you get what you pay for.

Things were not cleaned. The room had a strange smell. We moved furniture and found whole muffins from the free breakfast, from prior guests, under the couch. I've also never seen toilet paper so thin in my life. I will not be booking here again.

Location was great for going to Cedar Point! Staff was friendly also.

Maybe a fence around the back area would have made the outside more comfortable later at night.
