Location was convenient, in a quiet neighborhood, with supermarkets and restaurants nearby. The staff in charge, Wendy, was exceptionally helpful.

We stayed nine days, five of those without WiFi or TV, due to the hotel poor Internet connection. Four days without running water. Although this was not the hotel fault, it is lack of planning for a situation very frequent in the city. Hotel should have a water tank for such events. With all these happening, we didn’t see the host once, only a brief phone call; is this negligence?

Location is very good. Manga is quiet, safe also at night, all restaurants are close by, supermarket around the corner. Staff is very helpful with all needed. Bed is of good quality, better than most other places on my trip.

Its a womderful place to stay, nice architecture and attentive suff. A nice supermarket is just two blocks. Very quite and 5 min from the Walled city by car. Excellent cloth cleaning Service at request all at a very convenient price.

Mansion Bahia Manga is well located. As others mentioned, it’s just a 15 minute walk from Getsemaní, and around 25 minutes away from the old town. We also walked home from Getsemaní at night (before 11pm) - it was very safe. There were restaurants and a well equipped grocery store nearby. The property is well secured with a gate and a security guard, although the area is very safe. The room had AC which was nice because Cartagena is very hot, and it was quiet at night which allowed us to get a good night’s sleep. Overall, it is good value if you don’t mind being a short walk away from all the main attractions.

There is no hot water, but we didn’t necessarily mind because it was so hot.

Close to the center, it was only 15 minutes walking and it felt safe, even during the night! Also the bed was nice and it was quite during the nights i stayed:)

Beautiful old house, the room was spacious and the aircon worked well and was very quiet. The house is located within walking distance to the old town, but in a quieter area, so it was possible to get a good sleep there. Also felt safe walking around the neighbourhood. The hosts were very friendly and overall it felt more "personal" than other accommodations, like a homestay, which was very nice.

When I arrived, there were some additional taxes and fees to pay (government taxes plus fees for card payment) which were not transparent on booking, they increased the final price quite a lot. With other accommodations in Colombia the price on booking was always the final price, so I was surprised about this. Like most accommodations in Colombia, there was no warm water, but with the heat in Cartagena it was okay.
