Mansion Bahia Manga

This place saved my trip in Cartagena. I felt the real Caribbean vibe. Elia, the host is a treasure ❤️. I enjoyed every second of conversation I had with him.

we really enjoyed staying here in Cartagena. The location is 20 minutes walking to wall/downtown. The mattress was so comfortable I slept like a baby, there are grocery stores very close by and a fridge in the room, so we made breakfast in the communal kitchen everyday. The faculties are a bit outdated but very clean. Near by there is a nice marina area to take a walk and good restaurants options. Richard was very responsive to any questions/requests I had via booking app. I had a late flight and was able to store my luggage and go out the city after my check out time (be sure to arrange this in advance). I felt very secure in this mansion because the house keeper is very vigilant, he waited outside with me as I waited for my Uber to arrive. There are also camera and individual locks to your room, as well as locks to the front door of the house, and the front gate. And there is air conditioning in every room! This was a blessing on days that were too hot to be outside.

I don’t speak Spanish and the primary staff in the house only speaks Spanish, luckily there is another English speaking staff member who lives close by, but not in the mansion. we made it work with google translate and help from other people. The rooms could use more furniture (like a working table). It would have been convenient if basic things like shampoo, conditioner, bath mat, facial towel, etc. were provided. There were also some small mosquitos in the room which got me good when I was sleeping.
