The indoor lighting was dark.

This is a room at the Ala Moana hotel but it is not managed by the hotel. I’ve stayed there many times and the hotel is great! But this room was dirty , there was some lipstick on the bathtub , food from the previous guest was not removed from the refrigerator and the couch looked dirty. There are coats for cleaning, make sure you are booking with the hotel and not a property owned by a company at the hotel .

Close to resturants and shops amenties are well kept room was clean and security was present I rented the room thru expedia was not aware it was handicapped unit not all the plugs were working blow dryer sounded like it would explode staff was unhelpful because it was a private unit When I have stayed in the past as a hotel customer I was treated more friendly

Close to the beach, food locations.

When we got there our first room, ocean view 2 beds were dirty. Since I booked with a third party (booking.com). 2nd problem, I booked a king bed ocean view as well they gave us a different side (street view) and basically told us that’s what your getting. Took them 2-3 hours for the cleaning persons to go clean our first room and LSI needed proof that the room was dirty. To top it off, when they “cleaned” the first room they used the same sheets… Horrible experience. Also, if you want cleaning service and new sheets it ranges from 15-50 bucks plus if their is add ons other prices will be added.

Located close to tourist sights.

Upon entering our room we noticed bugs around the microwave & crawling around the cracks near the wall couldn’t get a new room until the next day but they were gonna have to charge additional $90 for exciting cleaning charge. Also didn’t like having to ask for toilet paper,sheets, towels & trying to find an empty trash bin in lobby to throw our room trash out because that wasn’t included in our stay since the room they gave us was privately owned. Which meant that housekeeping couldn’t do anything for us we had to call a number & still never got toilet paper for the nine days we stayed. We just bought some from target got tired of them saying anything extra was an additional charge like the towels. I guess they thought two towels was enough & asking for more was asking for extra.

Ala moana hotel n staff were excellent. LSI was not,I will book with the hotel directly

LSI non cleaning policy unless additional money is paid

LSI tricked you into believing their rates are low. With all the additional charges that are almost hidden to the eyes, they charge twice more than you would normally pay at the front desk. Expedia you are also responsible for their misleading prices. Also, I never checked in because the dates I selected were not given correctly. I requested booking starting from the 26th to 28th, the confirmation given was 27th to 28th. When i tried to change it their 3 offices in different states weren't opened yet. When i went on chat and asked for cancelation but was told refund was not guaranteed. Not happy at all and wouldn't recommend buy with LSI.

The location was easy to get where we needed to go. It was close enough to Wikiki but not too close. We had a lovely view.

The parking garage was hard to deal with. Spaces are small and I found the signage to be lacking. It was difficult to find our way around, find the lobby and remember where we parked the car. The elevator to the garage was broken.
