Econo Lodge Decatur South

Need to add a blow dryer to the room & a place to set suitcases. AC unit needed updated. Room felt sticky.

The gentleman working when I booked called me to see if I had any special needs. He worked great with me to satisfy. I could of had a nicer room upstairs, but I am handicapped and can't climb stairs. He got me a room downstairs which was rough looking, but I told him it's fine. We only needed a place to lay down.

The gentleman who runs the front desk from 1-9 was the best part of our stay. The room was clean and comfortable for the most part. There wasn’t really a lot of options for “breakfast” at this location but I mean it’s an Econo lodge. For the price, you get what you pay for. But the nice gentleman who works there really made a difference in our stay.

Lobby door was kept locked. The room was gross, filthy, had cig burns all over the bath tub. It rained that night and water came into the room from around the door. If negative ratings were a possible rating, this place would be -25.
