Aresti Old Town by Bilbao Living

L'emplacement un peu décentré n'est pas un handicap tant les structures urbaines, ascenseurs et métro à 5min à pied, facilitent la mobilité. Le quartier est paisible, même les soirs de coupe d'Europe quand le Bilbao joue à la maison, la circulation quasi inexistante. Le Vieux quartier de Bilbao, Casco Viejo, où il faut aller flâner, est facilement accessible depuis l'appartement. La propriétaire est attentive et disponible pour résoudre les éventuels problèmes.

Il n'a pas fait beau tous les jours !!

Excelente ubicación, confortable habitaciones y trato muy amable aunque no vimos persona alguna y fue todo virtual.

Great apartment situated within 6 minutes walk from Casco Viejo. Equipped with all you need during your stay including metro Berik card! Very clean and comfortable - we stayed as the family of 3 adults. Metro station within 3/4 minutes walk (with the help of the elevator). And last but not least - the host. Maria was phenomenal - very helpful from the very beginning. Sending all the possible instructions and also travel guides. It was so easy to get to the apartment with her guidelines. Just please make sure you notice that the parking is not located in the same building. You need 5 minutes to get to it but for us it was not a problem at all as the parking is situated next to Casco Viejo. The parking place is conveniently located and do not expect any problems with placing your car there.

Modern bathroom; new beds; great internet; dishwasher and washing machine with detergent provided; short walk to old town; metro is very close; downhill running route to the river and then lovely, flat routes from there.

As stated in the description, there is no air conditioning, which is standard for a lot of properties in Bilbao, but if you stay in August when it’s hot and humid, be warned! There are two fans in the property, but if you sleep with the windows closed, which we did seeing as the apartment is on street level and there are mosquitoes at this time of year, it made for a very uncomfortable night. Sofa is really uncomfortable and only big enough for two people, other guests have to sit on wooden chairs that are also really uncomfortable, so if you’re not chilling out in the property in the evening that may be fine, but for us it meant nowhere comfortable to relax in at the end of the day.
