The location is perfect, up on the hill between all the beautiful trails and with the most amazing view! The room was super clean and comfortable. The hosts were very kind and picked me up from the bus station. They also upgraded my room to 4-people room instead of the single room I booked. As a solo female traveler with no car, I was first worried about the location, thinking it will be difficult to arrive and to get food, but if you already planning to travel in Shizhao trails, you are going to get there anyhow, and then get to stay in the most beautiful spot that also allows you to watch the sunset with no need to go down the hill while it’s get dark. About the food- the place offers a big outdoor kitchen where plenty of families can cook, and they also sell toasts and other snacks all day. Nearby on the hill there is also a restaurant. They both have vegetarian options. So I just stayed a whole day between the trails with no going back down to the area of the bus station. I really loved this place

They were very helpful in directing us to the BnB when we got turned around on the hill and very accommodating with our requests.

We traveled with a small baby and the room was so cold when we arrived we had to use the blow dryer to warm her feet up. That's not the fault of the BnB and I'm sure if I'd asked for a heater they would've helped. Also, not being pork eaters or fish eaters, the selection on thr menu they have may be a bit limited so make sure you contact them early to let them know your dietary requirements.

Beautiful view from high mountain, comfortable sleep with heating mattress, friendly staff, yummy breakfast, and cheap for a wonderful trip specially, not very far from Alishan National Forest Recreation Area

An absolutely beautiful stay amongst tea fields and the mountains. A little out of the way but it's worth it for the quiet and the views. The beds were super comfortable.

Location is amazing and the owner of the place is super-friendly and supportive!

There was no heater in the room which made our staying in January quite uncomfortable. Even though self-heated blanket was provided, I would still opt for the heater if it was available. Also we really lacked towels (thanks for warning in advance that they are not provided but still we would be happy to get at least two of them rather than buying some before coming)

The views from this place are amazing and they provided a great location for dining.

The drive up to the place can be difficult if you're not use to very tiny windy roads.

Very good location with immediate access to viewpoints, sunset spots, and trail entrances. The room was clean, and there was a supply of hot water for drinking.

Not very good value for money for a solo traveler. I stayed in a room for four due to lack of availability. Might be more affordable for groups. The sound from the neighboring room was very audible.

The view from the home stay is just insane, like sleeping above the clouds. Getting up early for the sunrise is 100% worth it. Owner was very kind and even though couldn't speak English his use of Google Translate meant there were no communication issues.

No towels so you may want to bring your own. Although really not a big issue.
