Bordallo's Prime Apartments

Excellent location, well equipped unit, clean.

The only thing we had a concern about was in the bathroom. There is no curtain on the big window and right outside is the neighbors deck. When we were there four young lads were enjoying their deck. We have seen in past reviews that this was a concern and obviously has not been addressed. It is a big privacy issue. This apartment would have got a much higher rating if it had addressed this concern

We didn’t expect that our accommodation would be top floor walkup—60 stairs. Îm 80 so it was tiring. We hadn’t thought to ask in advance.

We are in love with the view. It is directly over the year round Caldas Da Rainha fruit and vegetable market The smell of freshness permeated throughout the apartment.

I loved the area, no complaints

Location was right in the center. Kitchen has nespresso machine, pots pans plates cups etc to shop and cook. Mostly responsive host but issues never resolved partly because we could t compromise and booking only responded to my messages when he no longer was offering me to leave without cancellation fee. In fact it took 6 days for booking.com to respond to me

No air conditioning, can’t keep windows open because of flies, smelled like smoke, moldy and old. No place to really sit and be comfortable, loud all hours inside and outside, other guests taunting me, banging on my door at weird hours that scared me.

Great little apartment right on the old square where the produce market is held in the morning and live music in the afternoons. Close to shops and restaurants.

Market set up from 5am can be noisy, but ear plugs do the job. May not be comfortable for a big person as the kitchen and bathroom are very small.
