Great location, spacious, LOVED the daily fruit market just outside our door

Lovely refurbished and upgraded apartment with all you need and I good location on the main market square.

Very noisy early morning market setup. The shower and faucets missed the opportunity for updated modern functions such as thermostatic valves, overhead rain shower or rail options. Not great to regulate temperature or pressure. Uncomfortable living room seating not great to relax after a long day exploring. Sliding doors are not good quality, difficult to slide and fall off their tracks.

Location was excellent decor funky and a very responsive host.

Nothing was bad

The location was fabulous. The apartment looked out onto a square where there was a fresh food market every day. It’s a very walkable place and the apartment was well positioned around shops and museums.

My main problem with the apartment was some lack of thought by the owners. There’s a bathroom and bedroom window that open into an airlock space in order to give some ventilation to the rooms however a light and possibly a fan had been installed into this airlock and came on when it got dark. There was no way of turning this off. This meant that you couldn’t have the bedroom window shutters open to get air as you had the light from the airlock shining into your bedroom. There was also some sort of security or smoke detector in the bedroom which blinked about every 60 seconds. This could’ve been placed in the passage which would’ve made sleeping a whole lot more pleasant. They also had cheap rugs in two of the rooms which were tripping hazards. In addition the double bed was very uncomfortable. We both had bad backs. The couch in the living room was a cheap sofa bed was also pretty uncomfortable to sit on. All in all it’s a great location and if these things don’t worry, you stay there!

If we had stayed longer, (maybe next time) there is everything you need to self cater including a washing machine. The rooms were well thought out and furnished to suit. Getting in and out through the lock system was great saved having to keep keys.

I loved the apartment, but noise does carry and children screaming for around 2 hours in an apartment below was disturbing, luckily they either left or went to bed by 9pm. A note which I am sure the team are aware of, it seems there is a leak maybe by the skylight, water on the stairs after heavy rain will eventually damage the steps.
